Sell’s Mill Park is a small county park in Jackson County, Georiga. Where you find a mill, you normally find a waterfall. The waterfall doesn’t appear to officially have a name, but I’d guess one of the following is appropriate:
- Sell’s Mill Falls
- Sell’s Mill Park Falls
- Sell’s Mill Waterfall
- Sell’s Falls
- Indian Creek Falls (That’s the body of water flowing over it.)
The waterfall is a nice long flat shelf with a perfectly vertical drop, probably courtesy of some shaping from the days of Sell’s Mill being functional. This is also a fairly easy to find park since it isn’t far from Atlanta, nor far off of I-85. It is located at 8783 Jackson Trail Road, Hoschton, GA 30548. There is a minimal amount of trail present in the park following Indian Creek, something I’d say is just big enough to take a dog for a walk on, but no real hiking or anything. The rest of the park is the expected picnic type area.
