Dinosaurs in the Woods is a roadside attraction found on the grounds of the Barber Marina in Alabama. As I wandered this area, fascinated, I found the following four dinosaurs just off the road in different spots. This just required pulling into the shoulder of the road in a few places and walking a few dozen feet to reach. At the brontosaurus I was attacked by mosquitos. At another one I heard weird noises from nearby bushes. Later I’d find a locked gate going to a giant sundial by that dinosaur, and a warning about alligators being problematic back there, so that might have been the noises. Basically watch out for alligators while viewing dinosaurs.
